A forgotten world

Chapter 2:

With the elemental tree restored to its true form, a surge of magic rippled across the land like an awakening breath. It was both a greeting and a promise. The balance of the world had returned.

But its revival came at a cost. From deep beneath the earth, the ruins of Veloria rose once more, shaking the land and tearing through Bluebell’s quiet town. What had once been only a humble lakeside village now stood in the shadow of a kingdom reborn, its castle looming, aged, rusted, and fractured, yet undeniably alive again.

Burdened by the destruction her kingdom’s return had brought, Nym embraced her role as a leader. She assured the people that Veloria would rise to greatness again, stronger than before. Those whose homes had been damaged would find shelter within the newly formed kingdom walls, and restoration began at once. The marketplace, neighborhoods, and castle grounds became the first priority, while larger expansions were promised for the future.

As for Bluebell, orders were given to clear the debris and restore the lake to its former serenity. Farmers were welcomed to settle nearby, building their fields and homesteads around its waters, ensuring that life and livelihood would flourish once more.
