Elves:
-
Elves are the second most popular species in the realm. They usually stick together.

Elves have great potential for magic. Their magical ability is often better than other species.
-
Elves can live up to over 500 years.
-
Elves excel with magic, businesses, and trading.
-
If elves mix with any other species, their lifespan is cut in half and they have shorter ears. (half elf)
Hybrids:
-
Hybrids are shy. Hybrids are the descendants of cursed humans who were turned into beasts as a punishment. It is why they are sometimes looked at in a bad light.
-
Hybrids have animal traits, but are 99% mostly human looking. They may have better hearing, better sight, or little things of the sort than the other species.
-
Hybrids thrive in the forests and ocean. Fishing and Farm work usually is good for them.
-
Your hybrid should look 99% human.

Merfolk:
Long ago, in an era forgotten by most, there was a time when a powerful species ruled the seas. While elves flourished on land, the oceans belonged to the merfolk. Renowned for their breathtaking beauty and enchanting songs, the merfolk soon fell victim to the desires of humankind. According to legend, the merfolk queen struck a secret pact with the ruling queen of the land, ensuring the safety of her people. In exchange, the merfolk withdrew from the world, sealing themselves away to protect their kind from human greed. Now, they exist only as a whisper in fishermen’s ballads, a myth of the deep. Yet, some say that not all of the merfolk followed their queen into eternal seclusion. Rumor has it that their descendants, who chose to remain, may still walk among us, hidden in plain sight as hybrids.
-
Merfolk can turn their legs into a tail when in the ocean.
-
They all have pectoral fins and some small scales over their body. (no fin hands please.)
-
Merfolk can live up to 150 years.
-
They can have shark tails, dolphin tails, fish tails, but no octopus etc.
