Legend of the Goddess

A long time ago, while magic and war still roared across the land, a young princess joined the fight to protect her beloved kingdom.

Beautiful was this maiden and her heart, pure as the first snowfall. With her strong faith she led her kingdom to many victories, most of them being won with peace. Her kingdom was in full bloom, radiating with life as victories accumulated.

However, as her forces began to weaken, many lives would be lost in a final battle. Her kingdom would be in pieces, nothing but fond memories remaining of the once beautiful land. As she took her last breath, the princess gazed up at the starlit sky, praying for the remaining survivors to find hope and peace without her.

As she slowly felt her life leave her body, she'd awaken in a mysterious palace. 'Is this heaven?' she thought.

She was met by a beautiful tall man with amber eyes. The stranger would address himself as the Harvest King, protector of the land. He'd tell her how her courage and faith bewitched him. Enough to offer her a second chance to guide her people.

By giving her his blessings, she'd be reborn as the Harvest Goddess, nature's queen. With great responsibility she took the role.

However, the king wouldn't be done. He'd offer the princess one last gift, a beautiful white lily half bloomed.

"Take this flower and travel the land with your people. When the flower blooms, plant it in the land. There, you shall rebuild your lost empire."

And so she did. For days she'd travel with the sick and weak, waiting for the flower to bloom. As her hope began to run out, the petals began to open, the flower revealing it's beauty.

On top of a hill, next to a spring, she'd plant the flower. The lily would grow in size and begin to shine. White dust, seeming like snow, would slowly begin to fall on them, healing their wounds.

As the years followed, the land would be bountiful and beautiful, as promised by the Harvest King. However, little by little the Harvest Goddess, who was forced to stay behind and protect the flower at the spring, would slowly be forgotten by the new generations.

One day, she vanished, along with the spring and the flower.
