What is Memories of Hope?

Memories of hope is a Harvest Moon/Rune Factory based Roleplay group that will run with Deviant Art, Discord, and our Website.

Why Harvest Moon?

Harvest moon has been a big part of my childhood and I still play it. I've always wanted to create my own game with this concept, but decided to make an rp group instead. After the new release of the Mineral Town remake It gave me this idea. A big warning that this group is heavily based on Save the Homeland and Animal Parade if you want to research those two.

What type of Rp Group is this?

This group will mostly be casual. I will be hosting 1 event per month. Some events will be more interactive than others. Harvest Moon Festivals are already very casual, meaning that events will mostly be to interact with people you haven't spoken much to before and claim special bonuses.

Does art levels matter in this group?

This group is art based so you want to at least know the basics. No need to be the best, just try your hardest. :)

How does Seasons work?

Each season will last 3 months. On the third month I will have an activity check.

How do I apply?

When openings are open, please follow the guide in Character Creation.

Do you do App Checks?

No, I will not be doing any App Checks. However, feel free to have fellow applicants help you out. Helping each other is always nice :)

What are you looking for in an applicant?

I'm looking for someone who is active and shows interests in others by participating in activities and events.

Okay, so you like someone who is active, but how active?

As stated, this group is pretty casual. I'm sticking with one event per month. There will be an activity check after 3 months with a certain amount of Gold that needs to have been claimed and you must of joined at least 1 event.

Where will group events be hosted?

Group events will be hosted on google docs. The link will go live when the event starts.

Is Discord Mandatory?

Yes. Most updates will be on Discord. It's easier to contact mods on Discord. DA will receive updates still, but it is easier to get updates from Discord.

Uploading Art will mostly be for DA.

What is the Setting/Time period of this group?

There isn't really a time period in the Harvest Moon World. The theme is Half Modern/Half Fantasy/Half Vintage

Take a look at previous Harvest moon games or Rune Factory games to get an idea.
